It can be tricky to get started on your resume when you’re staring at a blank page. Our resume templates give you a big head start by laying out all the right sections in a clear, easy-to-read document.
Some of the sections also have helpful instructions on what you should include. This takes the guesswork out of resume writing, and gives you added confidence when submitting your application.

Which resume template should you use?

While each of our three resume templates can be used to apply for just about any role, having different options allows you to fine-tune your resume to your personality and career goals.
  • Modern template – an eye-catching template with a colored header that highlights your name and details.
  • Professional template – a polished template with clean formatting and a classic, versatile design.
  • Simple template – an easy-to-read template that prioritizes your career history and education.

What should you include on your resume?

Each resume template has sections where you can include your skills, experience, education, a personal summary and other key information. Your resume is your opportunity to secure a first interview. That’s why it’s important to focus on information that highlights why you’d be a good match for the role you’re applying for, like relevant skills, experience and achievements.
Including key words can also help you stand out. For example, if the hirer is seeking a particular skill that you have, make sure that skill is mentioned clearly in your resume.

What to do when you finish writing your resume

Make sure to read over your resume for spelling and grammar. It’s a good idea to get a friend or family member to review it, too. When you’re done, save your resume as a PDF so it’s ready for apply with.
