Homeworld Shopping Corporation is an affiliate of the country's leader in the retail industry- SM. It is the one-stop home shop for Plasticware, Furniture, Kitchenware, Glassware, Linen and Decor items for the modern home.
 
The company started out as SM Home Center in 1975. As SM preeminently grew to be the largest chain of department stores in the Philippines, Home Center likewise received an overwhelming response from its customers. Prompted by the need to create a separate team to manage and control its operations, it was then recognized as a major consignor of SM on April 6, 1992 and officially named as Homeworld Shopping Corporation.
 
Today, Homeworld is found in all SM department stores all over the country.

Department Manager
(Central Luzon, Central Visayas, National Capital Reg)

Responsibilities:

  • execute directions and sales strategies to achieve or improve on sales targets
  • set clear directions on customer service for satisfaction so as to ensure regular customers
  • handle customer concerns and inquiries
  • ensure that the department is properly manned
  • ensure that standards of display and cleanliness in the selling area are maintained
  • monitor and control movement of stocks in his/her department
  • obtain information from customers and sales people on merchandise for feedback to merchandising and management
  • evaluate employee performance, recommends promotions, transfers and dismissals

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , any field.
  • Required skill(s): sales, communication, people handling and motivation,  inventory and stock Management.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
  • 10 Full-Time positions available.
