Rubber Plantation Manager
(Nigeria - Calabar)

 

Responsibilities:

1. Construction and management of tree nurseries
2. Planting and routine management of plantations
3. Protection of plantation from fires and pests
4. Supervision and control of labour
5. Adherence to safety and health guidelines
6. Close liaison with plantation adjacent communities and government Institutions
7. Preparation and control of plantation budgets
8. Weekly and monthly reporting
9.involved in matters relating to human resources----organizational training, recruitment and selection of other staffs.
10.actively participate in the performance evaluation of employees.
11.ensure matters related to finance and transaction are within his supervision
12.act as liason between the management and employees/staffs.
13.direct goals and targets to the staff.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess Bachelor of Science(B.Sc) in Agriculture from a reputable University
  • or Diploma in Agriculture from a reputable College of Agriculture,
  • or Bachelor in Business Studies/Administration/Management,
  • or Human Resource Management
  • or equivalent.
  • Must be a member of ISP(Institute of the Society of Planters)
  • At least 10 years experience of running a sizable plantation(normaly 5,000 hectares and above)
  • Required language(s): English, Chinese
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Calabar, Nigeria
  • 2 Full-Time positions available.
