Our client, a large MNC, is expanding their business in R&D in Singapore and requires the following suitable candidates to fill in the positions.

Principal / Staff Engineer
(Servo Engineering)
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

• Develop & sustain servo control system for HDD products
• Servo development tool design and MatLab implementation
• Filter design, system identification/modeling & stability analysis
• TMR management & budget analysis
• Implement methods or tuning to improve servo performance, troubleshoot and optimize servo systems

Requirements:

• Degree/Master Degree/PhD in Engineering, Major in control theory
• Minimum 6-8 years hands-on experience in HDD servo control system
• Knowledge of C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink/Control Toolbox
• Extensive knowledge of linear and digital theories
• Core member of a cross-functional systems development team will be an advantage
• Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong responsibility and good team work spirit
• Fresh Master/PhD graduates, Major in control theory are encouraged to apply
