Human Resource Assistant
National Capital Reg - Makati City


As an HR Assistant you are mainly responsible to provide efficient and successful shared HR services for Converga specifically the New Zealand site, while providing support to the HR Team with respect to broader HR initiatives as required.
Administration Tasks
  • Administration of HR Help Desk requests in an efficient and effective manner, delegating tasks effectively when required.
  • Prepare and distribute general HR correspondences including anniversary letters, probationary letters and other HR letters in a timely manner
  • Maintain HR files and databases in relation to employment contracts and various HR letters/activity.
  • Processing of Criminal Police Checks
  • Set up new employee log ins and maintenance of structure for both the Converga Learning Centre and Performance Review tool.
  • Maintain the training database including data entry of training history for all employees
  • Verification of all On boarding training requirements
  • Update and maintenance of internal contacts in conjunction with the IT Department
  • Assist the HR team as required
Recruitment Tasks
  •  Administration of HR Help Desk requests in an efficient and effective manner
  • Coordinate recruitment and selection in accordance with HR procedures including posting job advertisements, updating the intranet and website with new job ads and liaising with Managers
  • Administer and effectively manage all recruitment systems and avenues of the company making sure they are all updated.            
  • Process applications in line with sound recruitment practices and methods, including interviews and reference checks.
  • Compliance with HR policies & procedures
  • Highlight areas of continuous improvement to both recruitment/HR processes and site issues as they arise.
  • Produce monthly and ad hoc reports as required



  • Tertiary education in Behavioural Science or Management related courses
  • With at least two (2) years experience in doing HR Functions and/or specializing in one or more HR facets a definite advantage.
  • Background in Recruitment (Screening) and HR administration functions a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Applications and other application system
  • Keen to details and able to focus and set priorities
  • Ability to deliver result in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to keep confidential information and documents
  • Ability to communicate effectively to Managers and other internal and external clients.
  • Willing to work on an Early Shift (4am to 1PM)
