Field Community Development Worker
Sorsogon (Bicol Region), Bulacan (Central Luzon), Batangas (Calabarzon & Mimaropa)


  • Develop, implement, monitor and assess GNIP Sponsorship Service plans in collaboration with the Sponsorship Service Worker ensuring the achievement of program goals and alignment with organizational strategic directions;
  • Organize and implement direct service provision to sponsored children in the community in coordination with GNIP Sponsorship Service Field Worker; 
  • Provide guidance to the Sponsorship Service Field Worker in organizing the sponsorship service volunteer parents/ guardians in the community;
  • Handle cases of sponsored children as needed and ensure successful implementation of cases;
  • Coordinate and establish partnership with relevant government and non-government organizations;
  • Ensure quality and timely submission of sponsorship deliverables: correspondences, sponsor gifts, reports, etc. ;
  • Develop project plans ensuring alignment with GNIP organizational strategic directions and program goals.
  • In collaboration with GNIP Community Development Worker, oversee the implementation of assigned projects and ensure effective implementation of various projects in the area, and generation of desired impact on the target poverty groups;
  • Coordinate and establish partnership with relevant government and non-government organizations in the community in the development and implementation of projects;
  • Ensure quality and timely submission of project achievement reports.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Community Development, or Social Sciences
  • At least 3 years and above of work experience in the same field
  • Experience in working with an international NGO, an advantage
  • Licensed Social Worker • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
  • Patient in accommodating the behavior of others
  • Knowledgeable of the services available in the community
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application
