Story of Friendship, Story of Amici
In June of 1994, Fr. Gianluigi Colombo, a Salesian Italian priest in- charge of overseeing the operations of the Don Bosco Printing Press, was given permission by Don Bosco management to setup a “canteen” to support its employee. The employee not only got good food to satisfy their hunger but authentic freshly made Italian dishes in a “turo – turo” setting. 
By June 2001, Amici di Don Bosco (Friends of Don Bosco) was legally establish as a business entity to also serve the needs of students studying in Don Bosco.
News of great Italian cuisine prepared and served by priests and “ordinary people” inside a canteen spread like wildfire attracting patrons from all over Metro Manila. From humble beginnings, the printing press café became known for authentic Italian pizza, pasta & gelato.
Customers experienced a certain warmth and charm whenever they came, people from all walks of life flocked to Makati to experience Amici di Don Bosco
This is the “magic” of Amici di Don Bosco
Today with 7 branches of Amici and plans of expansion we are committed to continue the spirits of the original Amici Di Don Bosco of bringing the authentic Italian casual dining experience that good friends and family will always enjoy.

Shift Manager

  • Supervise Opening and Closing duties.
  • Supervise and direct activities of Restaurant Staff to ensure quality customer service and experience.
  • Assists the Restaurant Manager in the implementation of cost control targets and measures.
  • Complete required administrative functions (reports, rostering or scheduling, LSM).
  • Attend, support and implement company initiated trainings, seminar, workshop sessions as appropriate.
  • Consistently conducts pre- shift meeting to inform all staff of the restaurant's goal.
  • Continuously monitor the standards of work, procedures, and practices, productivity and customer services of the branch/ restaurant staff.
  • Ensure adherence  to all operational checklist and procedures.
  • Performs other related tasks assigned by the Restaurant Manager


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s)  working experience as Shift Manager is required for this position specializing in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
  • Must be a Team Player
  • With Good Communication Skills and Pleasing Personality
  • Must be Service and Customer Oriented
  • Must be keen to details
  • Hardworking, Honest and Willing to grow in a organization
  • Willing to be assigned in Makati, Alabang, Taguig, Mandaluyong, San Juan, and Quezon City
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
