Responsibilities:
- Focus on creative content development, including content for shopping cart
- Overall, assist web content manager in implementing web strategies for Human Nature
- Research, write, and edit exciting pro-Philippines, pro-poor, and pro-environment updates for Human Nature's website for all audience segments.
- Write, edit, produce and distribute e-newsletters and other digital-communications
- Work with designers & programmers in producing aesthetically harmonious, integrated web content
- Provide training, set up, advice and assistance on CMS to internal users; manage user accounts, images, documents and panels, including optimization and clean up, as needed
- Provide editorial oversight for web content including:
- Optimizing it for web readability, reading level, audience, search engine optimization
- Ensuring that Web content is current, relevant, user-focused, and supports overall site objectives
- Ensuring web content meets established web guidelines/policies/style.
- Assist in the planning and lead the implementation and maintenance of new or existing functionality modules for Human Nature's website/shopping cart
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field
- Related Experience Required: 1-3 yrs.
- Experience working on the web; also, marketing, integrated marketing communications or promotions implementation experience.
- Knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems, including shopping carts preferred
- Basic Adobe Photoshop skills a plus
- Must be a creative, out-of the box thinker
- Must be well-versed with social media, digital and internet trends
- Must have a heart for the Philippines, the poor, and the environment!
