FACILITIES TECHNICIAN (METRO MANILA)

Inspects and monitors daily operations of facilities equipment supportive of production requirement such as room temperature and RH%, general exhaust fan, fume scrubber, pumps, process cooling water, centralized vacuum, de-ionized water, Lift station, uninterruptable power system and compressed dry air.
Monitors and records parameters of daily operating condition of the plant and utilities such as Electrical System (HVSG-LVSG and UPS), Chiller, Compressed Dry Air (CDA), Vacuum Pump, Nitrogen System, Process Cooling Water System (PCW), FDAS, WLDS, VESDA, AWN/HMR System, to ensure normal and continues operation to meet manufacturing requirements.
Monitors and operates the building management system (BMS).
Maintains, executes minor repair and troubleshoots facilities electrical and mechanical such as pumps, exhaust fan, air conditioning equipment, electrical panel boards, and utilities. Replaces and installs parts as necessary and checks operation after repair.
Attends SPC meeting and performs SPC encoding of facilities class “A” equipments performance data.
Assists/coordinates with others contractor for the Installation of electrical, mechanical and related equipment and utilities on improvements, renovations and others projects.
Attends to other department’s requests and/or complaints
Operates and monitors the standby power generator set.
Performs minor preventive maintenance jobs on facilities equipments and utilities.
Reports / escalates any system or equipment abnormality to his immediate superior.
Performs other duties as may be assigned
Attends EHS training/seminars.
Participates in various programs, such as cost saving projects, equipment optimization, etc.
Minimum of 2-year Vocational Diploma / Technical Course Certificate in Electrical Technology, Industrial Technology or Refrigeration and Air-conditioning
At least 2 years experience in facilities maintenance
Experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial equipment such as chillers, boilers, heating and ventilation equipment, pumps, exhaust blowers, cooling towers, air compressors, High/Low/Medium Voltage Switchgears, Transformers, Automatic Transfer Switch, Manual Transfer Switch, UPS, Generator Set and its accessories.
Basic knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, and other mechanical works
Project-based positions available in Metro Manila
