In June of 1994, Fr. Gianluigi Colombo, a Salesian Italian priest in- charge of overseeing the operations of the Don Bosco Printing Press, was given permission by Don Bosco management to setup a “canteen” to support its employee. The employee not only got good food to satisfy their hunger but authentic freshly made Italian dishes in a “turo – turo” setting.
By June 2001, Amici di Don Bosco (Friends of Don Bosco) was legally establish as a business entity to also serve the needs of students studying in Don Bosco.
News of great Italian cuisine prepared and served by priests and “ordinary people” inside a canteen spread like wildfire attracting patrons from all over Metro Manila. From humble beginnings, the printing press café became known for authentic Italian pizza, pasta & gelato.
Customers experienced a certain warmth and charm whenever they came, people from all walks of life flocked to Makati to experience Amici di Don Bosco

Today with 7 branches of Amici and plans of expansion we are committed to continue the spirits of the original Amici Di Don Bosco of bringing the authentic Italian casual dining experience that good friends and family will always enjoy.

Responsible for over all sales and profitability of the branch/ restaurant.
Responsible for effective management, control and administration of the branch/ restaurant, to the specified SOP's adhering to company rules and regulation.
Responsible in leading, directing and managing the branch/ restaurant to ensure that it performs efficiently and effectively.
Responsible in ensuring that the company's policies, corporate values, house rules and SOP's are adhere and upheld.
Will asses, analyze, strategize and take action to ensure that the branch/ restaurant may achieve it's target.
Responsible in giving customer great food and great service.
Will comply and abide by the cash control, measures and procedures regarding sales, petty cash, reciepts, tip distribution, cash drawers, bank deposit etc.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or equivalent.
At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Managers specializing in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
Background in casual dining is an advantage.
Must have a great personality
Excellent Communication skills
Customer and Service Oriented.
Candidate must be willing to be assigned in Makati, Taguig, San Juan, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City area,
