Teachers for Preschool and Grades 1-12
Quezon City (National Capital Reg)


The Teacher will be responsible for the education and well-being of students under their care.
The role of the Teacher shall include but not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:          
        1.  Performing as a Competent and Caring Faculty Member
  • Demonstrating quality interactions with children and their families according to standards for Developmentally Appropriate Practice
  • Displaying knowledge of early childhood development.
  • Exhibiting sensitivity to children as individuals.
         2.  Implementing Child Oriented Curriculum Practices
  • Contributing to design and implementation of a dynamic, creative, age appropriate curriculum which will be reviewed by the director and posted in the center
  • Practicing positive behavior management techniques in guiding the children’s   behavior
  • Informing parents of classroom curriculum plans.
3.   Establishing Positive Communication At All Levels
  • Communicating with children in a positive way that indicates genuine concern and respect.
  • Ensuring POSITIVE communication with parents on a daily basis to inform them of their child’s ongoing development and activities (includes daily verbal and written communication).
  • Designing and implementing classroom parent communication systems (i.e. bulletin boards, newsletters, etc.)
  • Orienting new parents to classroom routine, curriculum, and communication systems.
  • Creating children’s progress reports and portfolios as well as conduct parent conferences.
  • Planning classroom parent-teacher functions (e.g. seminars, family day etc.)
  • Communicating openly and effectively with classroom team; participating in weekly team meeting.
4.   Practicing Effective Classroom Management
  • Ensuring the appropriate standards of health and safety n accordance with Multiple Intelligence International School Foundation, Inc. health and safety policy and procedure.
  • Understanding and carrying out emergency procedures.
  • Arranging an interesting environment for children that encourage appropriate play and learning.
  • Organizing classroom schedule to allow for child initiated and teacher directed activities as well as individual and small group learning.
  • Overseeing classroom equipment is in good repair by proper monitoring of children.
  • Monitoring use of and ordering classroom supplies as needed.
  • Submitting all records and reports in a timely manner (i.e. attendance sheets, accident report, progress reports)
5.   Being Part of the Multiple Intelligence International School Family
  • Supporting the Multiple Intelligence International School Mission; projecting a positive attitude about the organization, its goals and policies to parents and faculty.
  • Welcoming guests and prospective parents into your classroom, answering questions as the situation allows.
  • Marketing program to community as needed.
  • Contributing to center by participating in faculty meetings and sharing non-teaching duties (e.g. cleaning-up) and adjusting work schedule to accommodate the schools staffing needs.
  • Respects confidentiality of both written, oral, and observed information about families, children, teachers, director and methodology of the school. Avoids malicious gossip at all times.
  • Is always ready to share responsibilities with others, to assume others’ responsibilities in emergencies, and to generously share ideas, materials, time, and services, for the good of the team.
Teachers will have access to confidential materials and methodologies of the school.  The relationship of trust, loyalty and mutual respect are key to this position.


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree ,
  • Those with Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) is preferred, those without must take it within the first year in the school,
  • Specialization for Grades 9-12 teachers in General Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Secondary Mathematics, Social Science, Mandarin and Equivalent
  • Required language(s): Chinese (for Chinese Teacher), English, Filipino
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Quezon City.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Education or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
