q Provides knowledge that leads to the articulation of the mine HR & Admin strategies.
q Does coaching and counseling on consistent application of policies and procedures.
q Ensures that appropriate legal resources are engaged when appropriate.
q Implement all corporate HR programs including Employees Survey, Rewards and Recognition, employee relations and other HR activities.
q Provides support to the corporate HR by submitting weekly reports on attendance ( leave/ absences, tardiness), Headcount Reports, HR Updates , data collection etc.
q Ensures that HR Budget is being met / controlled.
q Leads / arranges employee assembly and gatherings.
q Ensures that policies and practices are consistent with Corporate HR direction by monitoring, applying and reporting and ensures readiness for the audit.
q Provides the employees with a sounding board for appropriate resolution of perceived organizational conflicts.
q Responsible for the areas of employee hiring, employee discipline administration, employee separation, employee discipline, employee movement & other related activities in the mine site.
q Issues employee contract, notices and other related correspondence after being reviewed by the Corporate HR.
q Upkeeps and maintains confidential files and documents including but not limited to 201 file.
q Submits training plan / evaluation of all employees in coordination with the department heads in the mine site.
q Representative in the inspection / reports for Labor Department in the mine site.
q Coordinates with the departments managers for employees’ performance management and make sure Performance Management system in place.
q Monitors Headcount movement.
q Submits yearly HR budget including salary, benefits, training and other HR related activities to the corporate HR.
q Organizes employee communication activities including team building, annual dinner etc.
q Ensures supply of office, food & beverages for employees in the mine site.
q Ensures cleanliness in the office and rooms of mine site.
q Performs other task as may be assigned by the Immediate Superior.
