Responsibilities


PURPOSE of POSITION : Manage team of Spare Parts Interpreters dealing with the Australian market and generate new business for Dunbrae Subic
 
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. Manage team of Spare Parts Interpreters to ensure maximum customer satisfaction for direct purchases and service staff in Australia
2. Implement systems in conjunction with the National Spare Parts Manager (AUS) to better distribute parts to our Service Technicians, Sub-Contractors and Customers
3. Generate business dealings in the Philippines and Asia for Spare Parts sales exploring all options to increase profit and growth for Dunbrae Subic
4. Oversee all Spare Parts related works from Subic
 
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage purchase order procedures so as to maximise shipping efficiencies whilst minimising cash flow implications
Ensure there is a high level of service supplied internally and externally via the Spare Parts Interpreter team
Work with the Service team to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for GFE jobs.
Work with Service Technical Team to improve service levels of Spare Parts Team
Seek out new parts sales opportunities across the Philippines and Asia generating a business model for Dunbrae Subic
Seek out new or alternative suppliers and manufacturers and negotiate terms and pricing for greater profitability
Enforce and monitor guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
Handle customer complaints immediately
Coach and mentor Spare Parts staff to ensure efficient workplace practices are maintained
Resolve staff issues in line with Global processes and procedures
Working collaboratively with other members of the service department
Observe OH&S and company policies
 
COMMUNICATION (regularly communicates with)
VP Philippine Operations, National Spare Parts Manager, National Technical & Training Manager, Service Managers, Coordinators, Service Technicians, Administration Manager, Spare Parts Interpreters Philippine and Australian, Australian Warehouse staff.
 

Requirements


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  (all aspects are ESSENTIAL)
EDUCATION
Tertiary Education
WORK EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in a parts and distribution business
Management and motivation of a team of staff
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Level 5 ( Excellent Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading English language is required
