The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCCI) is a Filipino company with a strong backing of experienced players in the automotive industry led by its Chairman Emeritus, Mr. Richard Lee, whose more than three decades of success in the Philippine automotive industry shall be poured into building and re-capturing the passion for Chevrolet. Likewise, TCCCI boasts the professional expertise of former Central Bank Governor, current Vice Chairman of The Philippine American Life and General Insurance Company and the Management Association of the Philippines’, 2007 Management Man of the Year and the current Philippine Ambassador to the U.S.A., Mr. Jose L. Cuisia, Jr. as its Chairman of the Board.
 
The Covenant Car Company Inc. has been appointed by General Motors Southeast Asia Operations as an independent and exclusive importer and distributor of Chevrolet automobiles and parts in the Philippines. TCCCI shall serve as Chevrolet’s sales and marketing arm, aftersales service and dealer support head office in the country. Chevrolet Philippines - The Covenant Car Company Inc. was incorporated on July 1, 2009 and assumed the full business operations on October 1, 2009 with Atty. Alberto Arcilla as President and Chief Operating Officer. Under the direction of Atty. Arcilla, whose 16 years of experience in the motoring industry can be attributed to his astute professionalism and marketing expertise -- the auto industry has finally experienced the formidable and customer-oriented Chevrolet Philippines. The Philippine market has come to expect quality as TCCCI’s primary and consistent force from production, to distribution, to marketing and after-sales service.
 
The Covenant Car Company Inc.’s engagement of the Chevrolet Business in the Philippines is part of General Motor’s (GM) renewed commitment to build a successful new GM worldwide. At its Detroit headquarters, GM unveiled a series of radical changes in its operations beginning with a new corporate structure, a stronger balance sheet and a resolute pledge to regain the trust and confidence of its customers.
 
Chevrolet Philippines will continue to distribute a full line of Chevrolet products from the Chevrolet Spark, Aveo, Cruze, Orlando, Camaro, Traverse, Tahoe, Sonic, Captiva, Suburban and Colorado. As of June 2012, Chevrolet Philippines has nineteen (19) dealer partners all over the country namely: Chevrolet Alabang, Chevrolet Commonwealth, Chevrolet Greenhills-EDSA, Chevrolet Makati, Chevrolet North-EDSA, Chevrolet Otis-Manila, Chevrolet Pasig, Chevrolet Quezon Avenue, Chevrolet Shaw, Chevrolet Bacolod, Chevrolet Cagayan de Oro, Chevrolet Cebu, Chevrolet Dagupan, Chevrolet Davao, Chevrolet Iloilo, Chevrolet Laguna, Chevrolet Nueva Ecija, Chevrolet Pampanga and Chevrolet Tacloban. HR Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Preparing and posting job advertisements, Providing assistance in hiring process activities such as posting jobs on job board or website, reviewing applications, maintaining a spreadsheet on tracking an applicant, screening applications, arranging interviews, participating in selection process, and administering pre-employment tests as required.
  • Administering and monitoring new hire orientation programs.
  • Preparing paperwork needed to create new employee profile and to place new employee on payroll.
  • Preparing source documentation needed for new hires, or effective changes in pay, status, or benefits.
  • Maintaining and monitoring records of employee benefits and salary.
  • Establishing, maintaining and controlling personnel, employees, recruitment relations records, files, correspondence, reports, and organization charts.
  • Maintaining employee file records up-to-date by handling changes in employee status in timely manner.
  • Providing general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic and hard copy, tracking deadlines, and taking down minutes as needed.
  • Ensuring effective reception or proper approvals on forms and enter changes in the system.
  • Helping in maintenance of employee directory and company organization charts
  • Responding to and putting through various queries from managers and employees, and from other agencies or departments.
  • Providing support with the implementation of services, policies, and program
  • Managing sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and files.
  • Interacting with and supplying information to employees, department heads, and job applicants.
  • Providing assistance in monitoring employee performance appraisal process.
  • Exercising individual judgment while dealing with potential or real troubles on own initiative and bringing them to manager’s attention
  • Keeping up current issues and matters in the organization related to HR department.
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the HR Senior Specialist and Division Head for HR

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Makati.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
