The products PAMBATO handle range from pharmaceuticals, automotive parts, industrial and agricultural chemicals, consumer goods, construction and electrical supplies, telecommunications equipment, dry goods, and many others.  For added reliability, only PAMBATO personnel handle each shipment every step of the way.  This means no agents, subcontractors nor strategic alliances with any other cargo forwarder.  In fact, many cargo forwarders who do not have branches in Visayas and Mindanao, often deliver their cargoes through PAMBATO.
PAMBATO’s main office, warehouse, motorpool, and container yards are located in the streets of Dimasalang, Maceda, and Retiro, Sampaloc, Metro Manila, covering more than 6,000 square meters.

Account Manager/Account Executive -Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao
Cebu (Cebu City) (Central Visayas)


This position is responsible for developing and maintaining larger volume/strategic freight forwarding, air and ocean sales within the company’s branch network.  Ensures that the organizational services consistently meet customer needs. Maximize existing business through the development of new business via sales, service marketing, and customer support strategies. COLLABORATION WITH OUR MANILA PERSONNEL AND CUSTOMERS.
Description of Essential Job Functions:
  • Planned communication with customer based on their buying behavior using email, phones and face to face contact.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with existing customers using email, phones and face to face
  • Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.
  • Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining services capabilities ; overcoming objections; preparing contracts or proposals
  • Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitors and developing new approach.
  • Collaborate and work with the Finance Manager or Sales Analyst to ensure profitability of the account.
  • Grow market share by maintaining the current customers and finding potential customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers based on buying behavior knowledge and the ability to differentiate Pambato Freight from its competitors.
  • Collaborate with the whole operations (branch operations manager and Manila Operations) and Manila marketing team to resolve customer issues.
  • Collaborate with drivers and other functional areas to network with the customers gain “one more shipment” and increase territory and customer knowledge.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of customer activity and expenses to ensure that all delivery cost are captured and accounted.
  • Collaborate with Finance Team to ensure profitability and accurate freight costs to present to the customers
  • Work closely with the operation manager to satisfy customer requirement and exceeds expectation.
  • Attention to all detail including recognizing and resolving documentation errors.
  • Process over, short and damaged freight and related documentation for customer resolution.


  • 1-3 years of experience in sales and marketing industry
  • Preferably in a Forwarding/Shipping/Logistics industry but Not Required
  • Bachelors degree in Business Major in Marketing or equivalent
  • Proven success meeting sales goals in previous roles and strong desire to win
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to develop solid working relationships with co workers and internal customers.
  • Self starter with independent decision making skills.
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Ability to understand competitors strategies
  • Ability to collaborate with different functional areas
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office suite is preferred
