CDC Homes is a group of real estate companies engaged in the property development,
marketing, and professional management of mixed used projects for the middle and
upper-middle income markets. The corporate group also derives significant business from its
hospitality arm targeting extended-stay business and leisure travelers.
At the helm of its founding and growth is 40-year real estate industry veteran Mrs. Melesa
“Elsie” Chua who serves as the group’s President & Chief Executive Officer. Mrs. Chua,
together with her husband, David founded Melawares, the leading melamine dinnerware
brand in the Philippine food service industry. Melawares is staple at the Filipino home,
earning the title of “Pinggan ng Bayan” or “Plate of the Nation”. Its corporate clients include
the biggest name in the fast food business such as Jollibee, KFC, and Mc Donalds.
Among CDC Homes early notable projects include Crisanta Towers in Pasig City,
Quadrillion Mansion building in San Juan 1995, and various horizonal residential
developments such as Silverland Village and Macaria Homes, a subdivision project in Cavite
City with 540 housing units.
The group was at the forefront of the high-rise condominium development in Metro Manila
with two mixed-use buildings in Annapolis, Greenhills – Platinum 1000 and Platinum 2000
completed 1990 and 1993, respectively.
CDC Homes is also a pioneer in the service residence industry, opening Millennium Plaza in
Makati in 1993, and in 2000 partnering with Singapore-based the Ascott Limited (Ascott),
launching Somerset Millennium Makati and in 2017 – Citadines Millennium Ortigas Manila.
Citadines Millennium features 92 residential units turnover 2017 and 290 service apartment
units.
CDC Homes turnover over significant projects since 2006 with Lions Park Residences in
Paranaque City – a 7 mid-rise building with 500 units completed 2012, Manila
Rivercity – a 9 building high tower development with 1,940 units and Rivergreen Residences
a two-tower, 30 storey mixed use property with 800 units situated in Santa Ana, Manila last
2018 with commercial tenants like BPI, 711, and Hi-Precision Diagnostic as its anchor
tenants.
Currently, the group is excited to launch new projects in the pipeline. Notable is the
River Park Place – a two tower 30 storeys residential project with 1,099 units and
ongoing construction. Target completion for tower 1 will be 2024 while the Tower 2 is
scheduled by 2025. CDC also successfully launch town homes brand under the “KASA”
brand with the 56 units of Kasa Berde in Paranaque City wherein first phase is already for
turnover this June 2022 and the remaining units to be completed by Dec 2022. Kasa Joya
is the second town house developments launched in Santa Rosa, Laguna with 139 units
which will be completed by 2026.
Dove Loft – a 6 storeys residential building inside the Lions Park project with 164 units target
to be complete in 2024, River Thames is an initial 6 storeys building situated in Sta. Ana with
102 units completely sold out within the initial launch with target to complete in 2026.
For the year 2023, more exciting new developments are on the way – Amber Park located in
Mandaluyong City which will feature three-residential towers with the second tower being
an Ascott brand – Citadines Connect hotel with amenities immersed with lush greenery.
Two projects are on the way in Santa Rosa Laguna, the Kasa Joya I & II. Both projects are
townhomes with a well designed residential community that help promote an active lifestyle
where families can grow and enjoy a lifestyle with greenery.
