Very Low Pay

The good things
You have a workstation that is air conditioned
The challenges
Very low pay, takes advantage of their employees needing this job. If you want to earn decently, do not work in this company.

flexi sched / extra income

The good things
The main good point of this job is the flexible schedule. You can come in any time and leave anytime. Hence, this job is good for those who need flexi sched.
The challenges
The number of essay submission vary per day or week. Hence, there may be days with too much workload and there are days with none. Moreover, since this is a freelance job, you will not have benefits.

Best group of people

The good things
I enjoyed staying here because of my colleagues and superiors. They were encouraging and helpful especially to those who are new. The management is also commendable. The pay may not be enough for some but it is always on time.
The challenges
There are that can be improved such as working on special holidays, more incentives, vacation leaves are very controlled, more free time for the teachers to unwind after their classes. Also, teachers dont see their future working in this company considering the salary and increases.

heavy work load, but pay too low

The good things
the job itself is easy and fun, especially if you enjoy teaching kids. The lesson materials are provide and are also easy to teach.
The challenges
online teachers get busy sometimes. other times, the high volume of booked classes does not match the number of teachers available on the floor, so even the QAs are required to take classes. compensation does not match heavy work load. filing for leaves and getting them approved can be difficult at times. the management tend to \"block\" days or even an entire month, thus the teachers and QAs are not allowed to file for vacation leaves on the blocked dates.

Online Teaching

The good things
The schedule is perfect. The work load is not too heavy and the environment is engaging. The people are also friendly, and the students are easy to teach. The materials they let us use are easy to comprehend. The QAS team conducts series of training that help teachers improve their skills. There are also team activities that help promote camaraderie among members of each team in the company.
The challenges
The QAS always evaluate daily classes and sometimes if you are very unlucky, you may be coached every day. There are some students that can be difficult to teach sometimes. The breaks they give are also very restrictive. They have lots of rules and if you violate one of them, you'll be automatically subjected to disciplinary actions. Some people who have higher position power trips sometimes.
