Producers Bank launched its Mobile Crop Loan (MCL) on May 8, 2017, making it the first (1st) digital agricultural crop loan via Lendr in the ASEAN region, developed in collaboration with FINTQ, the financial technology arm of PLDT, Smart and Voyager Innovations.
Producers Bank, with 146 operating branches, has preserved the distinction of having the largest branch network among stand-alone thrift banks or those not affiliated with large banking groups. The Bank operates in 30 different provinces in Luzon and Visayas, and Mindanao. Producers Bank is the largest lender to individual palay farmers, and it has also started to lend to sugar farmers.
