Challenging yet wonderful experience.

The good things
I got to meet a lot of people with different personalities. I've met professionals, businessmen, and students. I've got a chance to guide and keep track of their English study journey.
The challenges
You don't have a lot of time to study their chosen lesson. You need to have a wide understanding and patience and need to be flexible (or multi-task) to deliver the class perfectly with the correct explanation to your students. Especially you need to be smart and confident.

I would never recommend this to anyone.

The good things
You control your time, so that's good. About 50% of the students are quite fun to teach, so you'll be less stressed than normal jobs. But that's it.
The challenges
The company and management itself is not considerate of their online teachers. They keep adding up rules and features that would inconvenience the lives of the teachers. They'll always be hiring not because they're getting more and more students (actually, there was an ordinance or law in the other country where they don't encourage classes outside regular school anymore), but because only a small percentage of the teachers would actually last for a long time. So as of now, I can say that if you've been a teacher in 51Talk for a long time, then it's tolerable but if you're just starting...well, I bid you good luck.

This can helped me a lot, specially when the moment they accepted me even though I don't have any ESL experience, this company taught me how to love your work.

The good things
What I really loved about this company is that they provide training for free, and they have their own lesson materials, which is an advantage for us teachers. They update you and help you grow more in this industry.
The challenges
